Professor Alan Patching is one of Australia’s most
sought after business presenters. He has extensive
experience in working with groups from the Gulf region.
He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of the
organization that owns Sydney’s Olympic Stadium and was the owners’
Project Director, responsible for managing and overseeing the design and
construction of the largest Olympic stadium ever built.
Alan Patching has personally managed or directed development projects
worth over AUD$ 6 billion. He has negotiated several huge property
transactions including the largest property deals in Australia’s property
history (over AUD$ 1.2 billion) and the country largest commercial lease.
He is a Former Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and the
Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. He is the author of several
books and audio albums including ‘The Futureproof Corporation’. Alan

John Blacklaws is a British management and training
consultant. John worked in senior operations and
project management roles before establishing his own
management consultancy in 1998. Today, he lives in
Qatar, and serves his client base in the Middle East, UK, South Korea,
Singapore and Africa.
John consults widely on business optimization and addresses issues
including organizational performance, process optimization, change
management, management capability, talent management and
development, and cost-effective sustainable competitiveness.
John has first-hand insight into the operations of public and private
sector organizations across oil & gas, petrochemical, financial services,
utilities, information technology, telecoms, manufacturing, mining,
agriculture and non-government organizations (NGOs.).

Claude Maley is Managing Director of Mit Consultants,
a consultancy and education practice servicing
international clients in change management, and
Chairman of a business solutions company. He started
his career as a Systems Engineer with IBM, after reading estate
management and building construction at the London School of
Building.
His functional management and consulting experience with major
corporations such as Alcatel, BP, Cadbury-Schweppes, Cartier, Caterpillar,
Cisco, Ericsson, GE, Hewlett-Packard, IMS International, Motorola,
Organon, Overseas Containers Limited, Pechiney, Renault Automobile,
Siemens to name a few, has spanned more than 40 years in engineering,
production and manufacturing, distribution, transportation and
marketing services sectors.

in topics ranging from general organizational, program and project
management to sales and marketing, leadership and motivation. Author
of educational courses and papers on business solutions, organizational
management and leadership, Claude is Member of the International

the Association Francophone de Projet and author of the book ‘Project
Management - Concepts Methods, and Techniques’.
Ashraf Kodari, an independent management consultant,
has a skill mix that combines solid technical knowledge
with its applications in business context, in addition to
excellent communication and presentation skills. Ashraf’s
experience was gained through multiple positions which were in the
fields of utility operations, project management, training management,
facility management, and health and safety in North America and the
Middle East.
During his professional career, spanning over 26 years, Ashraf has spent
15 years managing/sponsoring projects and programs in different fields,
including; utilities, training, construction, organizational engineering
and IT. Ashraf transfers his knowledge and experience, while enhancing
his own, through developing and delivering training, and learning from
audiences across the world. He has developed over 20 individual training
programs.
Ashraf’s certificates include mechanical engineering, marine engineering,
Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) instructor, course developer
and training manager. He is also a certified PMP® by the Project
Management Institute (PMI), and a Master of Project Management.
