MISSIONARY

Does God call everyone to be a missionary? We’re all called to serve Jesus Christ. The word “missionary” just means somebody who is sent. And we’re all sent, we’re all drawn into Christ and we’re sent out by Christ to live in the world as witnesses to Christ. In that sense, wherever God places us we are sent by Him with the gospel.

What is a missionary? A missionary is an individual who is sent by a religious organization to spread it’s faith, typically to foreign countries or among non-believers. Missionaries often engage in activities such as evangelism, education, healthcare, and community development. With the aim of converting individuals to their faith and improving their quality of life according to their religious beliefs.

What is the essential duty of missionary Is to teach people people about Jesus Christ and His commandment to Love God and others.

What do you think is your hardest thing about missions? For me at my age, I have left my grandchildren. There are many missionaries but my grandchildren have only one lola and that’s me. “Language Barrier”

What are the steps to being a missionary? First you need the call of God. Be a person in prayer and person of the word of God. To go through strong discipleship, you must pray and ask God for the right person to disciple you. You really have to established your faith and relationship with Jesus. Is to WITNESS and DISCIPLE.

What are the difficulties/challenges you’ve been facing in the field? Sometimes with the organization, sometimes there’s rejection. Language and Cultural Barriers. Cultural Ignorance, Discouragements, Emotional Struggles, and Spiritual Battles.

How do you plan on dealing with cultural changes? Be open to the work of the Holy Spirit to produce it’s fruits in you. Only Him knows what to do with your circumstances. Learn more and be willing to engage to people.

How do you handle discouragements? Without a word of God I will be fallen apart. Spend time with the Lord in worship and prayers. Reach out to positive people. Have accountability group that can pray for you and you can freely talk with.

Follow up Questions? How did you know that you are called for missions? I felt the call when I was a little girl but I didn’t know what a missionary was. I still lining at my toys, pretending to preach to them.

Follow up Questions? How will you challenge people to involve their life in missions? I think if they were listen to Jesus they will involve there life in a missions, because that’s his heartbeat. His heart beats for the lost.
