Before the world was created there was
nothing but darkness and God. Then God said
“Let there be light” and it happened. God
separated light from darkness. He called light
“day” and darkness “night.” God looked at
what he had done, and he was pleased.
That was the end of the 1
st
day.

On the forth day God made 2 great lights. One
to rule over the day and one to rule over the
night. He called them sun and moon. God also
made stars to shine to the night. So it
happened. God looked back at what he had
and was pleased.
That was the end of the 4
th
day.

God said “let the water be filled with
swimming fish and the sky be filled with flying
birds , and so it happened. God looked back at
what he had done and was pleased.
That was the end of the 5
th
day.

On this day God made animals both wild and
tame to roam the earth. God also made both
girls and boys, God’s own joys. Every single
one of them made in God’s own likeness. God
looked back at this day and was pleased.
That was the end of the 6
th
day.

God rested on this day and went over what he
had done and was pleased. God blessed this
day and made it holy.
But that was not the end…
