The Who to Play at Wembley Stadium Benjamin Perlin

Introduction Tennessee-based photographer Benjamin Perlin is a community-minded individual who supports Tennessee State Veteran's Home, Habitat for Humanity, and the Second Harvest Food Bank. A fan of classic rock music, Benjamin "Ben" Perlin counts The Who as one of his favorite bands of all-time.  As part of their upcoming Moving On! Tour, The Who will be playing at the iconic Wembley Stadium on July 6. The band confirmed the news on January 28 after a career highlight video was posted on their Twitter page with their song Baba O'Riley playing in the background. The two living members of the band, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, will play the band's classic songs accompanied by an orchestra.

The decision to play alongside an orchestra was inspired by the success of Daltrey's orchestral performances of The Who's rock opera Tommy in 2018. Coincidentally, 2019 marks 50 years since Tommy was created, as well as The Who's performance at the first Woodstock festival. Daltrey and Townshend will be joined on the Moving On! Tour by Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder and the Kaiser Chiefs. Other accompanying acts will be announced in the near future. In addition to the tour, the duo is producing a new album for the first time since 2006. Townshend wrote 15 songs from the album from May until August of last year and describes the project as having some songs that cater to longtime fans and others that are more experimental in nature.
