3. The Zone of Silence is between Chihuahua, Coahuila and Durango ( Bolson de Mapimi ). The Zone of Silence was first reported in the 1930 by Francisco Sarabia , Mexican driver who said that his radio mysteriously failed while flying overhead. Since then, many people who have visited the area have reported that the radio signals fade to enter it, and stop compasses point to magnetic north. However, none has presented strong evidence to support his claim, and less obvious solutions, like the remoteness of the area means that radio and television did not have enough power, or that such area may be rich in iron ore .

4. The area is two thousand meters above sea level, and interestingly is about latitude 27 north, on which there is the Bermuda Triangle, the Himalayas and the Pyramids of Egypt.

5. The Zone of Silence is awesome and overwhelming, and there is frequent meteorite falls, while other phenomena that occur without explanation: changes in the movement of the hands of a clock, disturbance in the compasses, radios stop working and stunted fauna alternates with desert stretches.

6. It's called Zone of Silence because there is not any noise, but because the radio airwaves can not be transmitted in a common way. You have to find some bands where you can communicate, but always poorly. This lack of communication with the outside, both for transmitting and receiving, was what gave him the name of Zone of Silence.

Another fact that came to give more fame to the place, says Walter, was the fall in July 1970 the U.S. Athena rocket, which was launched by NASA from the base of Green River, Utah, bound for the White Sands base in New Mexico. For some failure, the rocket deviated from its original path to fall about five miles of the hill "San Ignacio", near the area that years before Mr. de la Peña made known with the famous radio signal failures .

8. The incident appeared in local newspapers but NASA said nothing. Coincidentally, some NASA scientists were a few months before the fall of the rocket in this region, which gives lectures and visiting the place where fell the famous Allende meteorite in the town of Allende , Chihuahua, on 8 February 1969, about 170 km (straight line) of the Zone of Silence.

9. Some persons say that There is bad … But in my opinion , i like this case, and I hope can investigate about that .
