Koradi thermal power station SWAPNIL DHAGE 3 The power plant is one of the four major power plants in  vidarbh . KTPS is located on the northern side of Nagpur and is spread across an area of 30,337 km2. The plant approximately requires 16,000 to 17,000 tonnes of coal per day Location- Koradi District- Nagpur Installed capacity- 1040MW

Nashik thermal power station SWAPNIL DHAGE 4 The first head of the Power station was Sri Karanjkar assisted by Sri CL Gupta and Sri Sen Gupta. Land requirement for the proposed project is about 36.6 hectares. The total cost of the project is around Rs 4,390 crore, 20% contribution will be by the State Government amounting to Rs 878 crore. The remaining funds will be supported from several lending institutions. Location- Nashik District- Nashik Installed capacity- 880MW

Bhusawal Thermal power station SWAPNIL DHAGE 5 Location- Deepnagar District- Jalgaon Installed capacity- 470MW The Bhusawal Thermal Power Station consumed 2,400,000 tonnes of coal in 2006–07

Paras thermal power station SWAPNIL DHAGE 6 Location- Vidyutnagar District- Akola Installed capacity- 555MW the Paras Thermal Power Station consumed 351,000 tonnes of coal in 2006–07 Paras is home town of Mr. Shivdeep Lande (IPS) and Dr. Niyaz Ahmad(SCIENTIST).

Parali thermal power station SWAPNIL DHAGE 7 Location- Parali Vaijnath District- Beed Installed capacity- 1170MW Chief maneger - SHRI N. H. PATIL

Kaparkheda thermal power plant SWAPNIL DHAGE 8 Location- Khaparkheda District- Nagpur Installed capacity- 840MW The coal for the power plant is sourced from Saoner and Dumri Khurd mines of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL)

Chandrapur Super thermal power station SWAPNIL DHAGE 9 Location- Chandrapur District- Chandrapur Installed capacity- 2340MW The coal for the power plant is sourced from Durgapur and Padmapur Collieries of Western Coalfields Limited. the plant is the largest power plant in the Maharashtra.

Trombay Thermal Power Station SWAPNIL DHAGE 10 Location- Trombay District- Mumbai Installed capacity- 1400MW The power plant is owned by  Tata Power.

Dahanu Thermal Power Station SWAPNIL DHAGE 11 Location- Dahanu District- Thane Installed capacity- 500MW It was constructed by BSES Ltd  Reliance Infrastructure later took over BSES. The power plant operated by  Adani Electricity . The plant is located on Mumbai-Ahmedabad rail line and is 120 km away from Mumbai and 20 km away from Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Delhi  National Highway 8 (India) . The power plant was commissioned in 1995 and is commercially producing power since 1996.

Wardha Warora Power Plant SWAPNIL DHAGE 12 Location- Warora District- Chandrapur Installed capacity- It is a 540 MW (4×135 MW) project. The power plant is operated by the  KSK Energy Ventures . The coal for the plant is sourced from  Western Coalfields Limited (WCL)
