2. RED AND GREEN FILTERS THIS ARE RED GLASSES OF 640 nm AND GREEN 535 nm . RED FILTER IN FRONT OF THE RIGHT EYE AND GREEN FILTER IN FRONT OF THE LEFT EYE. RED AND GREEN FILETRS ARE MAINLY USED FOR TESTING BINOCULAR VISION IN WORTH FOUR DOT TEST FOR MALINGERING TEST RED AND GREEN FILTERS ARE ALSO USED TO COLOR SENSE OF RETINA BEFORE SURGERY. PRINCIPLE: DISSOSCIATE THE EYES USING COLOR SENSES.

3. HOW DO RED AND GREEN FILTERS WORK?? The common use of red and green activities has the patient wear red over the right eye and green over the left eye, this can be definitely be reversed, but always keep red over right eye. During the activity the patient is shown a block of text with a see through red/green filters placed over the glasses. The end result is right eye is unable to see items covered by the green film and vice versa Together a normal patient would be able to combine the images of the right and left eye to overcome the blocked out letters.
