THURSTONE SCALE Thurstone scale is one of Thurstone's 3 different scales It is the method of equal-appearing intervals, reason why it is often called as "equal-appearing interval scale" 3

THURSTONE SCALE It is the first formal method of measuring attitude both in psychology and sociology. It is made to provide a more precise and quantitative way to understand and compare individuals' opinions, making them valuable tools in fields such as psychology, market research, and sociology. 4

How can its result be interpreted?

14 THURSTONE SCALE “Each “agree” answer must be assigned a score between 1 to 11, each “disagree” answer must be assigned a score of 0. The final score of each respondent’s quiz represents the strength of their opinion. The higher the score, the more supportive their opinion.
