Sample The study revealed vibrant experiences in the field and manifested how farmers practice agroecology to respond to climate change and build their adaptation even without the support from the Government. In case of Nepal, majority of the Nepali Population rely on agriculture be it employment or the livelihood and thus it has significantly contributed to national economy. The government of Nepal has allocated an insignificant budget to agroecology at less than 1% of the national agriculture budget in 2021/22 , despite the positive outcomes from the few government-funded programmes . The government of Cambodia has not allocated any budget to agroecology to date . The current national agriculture development programmes are designed based on large-scale chemical intensive and genetic engineering approaches, which exclude traditional agriculture systems and knowledge of the farmers and indigenous people. The commercialisation and industrialisation of agricultural systems and has contributed to a dependency on chemicals and pesticides, and negatively impacted biodiversity, employment, migration, cultural identity, and displacement. Including Nepal, 46 least developed countries contributed around 1.1 percent of carbon which is equal to half of current vehicle emits in USA. We all have been impacting by climate change, but it has been differentially impacting to developing countries and developed countries. Developing countries have been impacting more. Including Nepal and other 46 countries are not the major carbon emitter, but we have been impacting by the emission from developed countries so, we are the climate survivors especially our small holders farmer who are struggling to feed us their family through agriculture based livelihood. Climate change is not only a political issues it is also social issues which has directly impacting more to the small holders farmers whose life and livelihood completely rely on land and agriculture.
