1.Overview:
According to Census 2011 information the location code or village code of Natolivillage is
568305. Natolivillage is located in Shiralatehsil of Sanglidistrict in Maharashtra, India. It is
situated 11km away from sub-district headquarter Shirala(tehsildar office) and 70km away from
district headquarter Sangli. As per 2009 stats, Natholiis the gram panchayat of Natolivillage.

2.Profile

Objective of the Internship:
•Identify and analyze key technical issues affecting Gram Panchayat .
•Develop sustainable solutions to address these issues through a rural
internship program.
•Empower local communities and enhance their capacity to tackle
future challenges independently.

Work responsibilities during the internship
•1.Orientation and Familiarization Introduction to Gram Panchayat: Begin with an orientation session to
understand the structure, roles, and responsibilities of Gram Panchayat Natoli. Learn about ongoing
projects, administrative procedures, and community demographics.
•2.Data Collection and AnalysisSurvey Design: Collaborate with supervisors to design surveys aimed at
assessing infrastructure deficiencies, community needs, and governance challenges.
Fieldwork: Conduct field visits to various parts of Gram Panchayat Natoli to collect data through
interviews, questionnaires, and direct observation. Data
Analysis: Analyze collected data using statistical tools or qualitative analysis methods to identify key
issues such as road conditions, water supply issues, electricity problems, sanitation facilities, etc.
•3.Documentation and Reporting Progress Reports: Prepare regular progress reports detailing activities
undertaken, challenges encountered, and milestones achieved. Documentation: Maintain
comprehensive records of all project-related activities, including data collection instruments, meeting
minutes, correspondence, and project reports.
•4.Community Engagement Meetings and Workshops: Participate in community meetings, workshops,
and events to understand community perspectives, gather feedback on proposed initiatives, and
promote transparency. Capacity Building: Facilitate capacity-building sessions for community members
