1. TORTUGA PICO DE LORO
También conocida como tortuga Golfina o Flaca. Poseen
un caparazón de color olivo o gris y de forma circular. Se
encuentran globalmente distribuidas en aguas tropicales
del océano Pacífico, Indico y Atlántico Sur, teniendo como
preferencia zonas costeras como bahías y estuarios para
poder alimentarse, pueden bucear hasta 150 metros de
profundidad para alimentarse de crustáceos, peces y
moluscos.
Comercialización
El uso de carne y derivados para autoconsumo
y para venta se genera a partir de la demanda
de la localidad del desembarque.
Degradación y destrucción del hábitat
Existen actividades humanas que impactan en
las zonas de la costa donde se encuentran las
tortugas marinas. Un ejemplo de ello son las
actividades turísticas que no sólo las perturban
y alteran su desplazamiento, sino que, además,
en el caso de las embarcaciones, colisionan y les
generan lesiones en sus caparazones u otras
partes del cuerpo.

2. Cambio climático
El calentamiento global, uno de los efectos más
significativos del cambio climático, no excluye a
las tortugas marinas. Se estima que por cada 0.6
grados centígrados que aumente la temperatura
superficial del agua

3. LORO PEAK TURTLE
Also known as turtle Golfina or Flaca. They have an
olive or gray shell and a circular shape. They are
distributed globally in tropical waters of the Pacific
Ocean, Indico and South Atlantic, having as
preference coastal areas such as bays and estuaries
to feed, can dive up to 150 meters deep to feed on
crustaceans, fish and molluscs.

areas where sea turtles are found. An example of
this are the tourist activities that not only disturb

estimated that for every 0.6 degrees Celsius the
surface water temperature increases
