CONTENT .. Total surface area of a square prism.

What is a square prism? A square prism is a three dimensional figure with two square bases and four rectangular lateral faces.

Area of bases with base edge ‘a’= a*a.

Area of the lateral rectangular faces= ah+ah+ah+ah =4ah , where ‘h’ is the height of the square prism.

Total surface area of the square prism= ( a*a)+(a*a)+4ah.
