Transform Boundary by james kuznetsov

Photograph San Andreas Fault

Caption Transrom boundary is a plate boundary in which plates are maving side a side in diferent directions. It can occur with any types of plates (continental - continental; continental - oceanic; oceanic - oceanic)

Diagram

Cause and Effect Cause Convection currents inside the mantle is what causes plates to move Effect Transform boundaries are known for collecting energy and then eventually releasing it. This causes earthquakes and tsunamis

Analysis Transform boundary is a side a side movement of any two plates . When plates move like this they collect energy, which eventually releases and causes earthquakes and tsunamis. A few world examples are San Francisco Earthquake in 1906 with magnitude of 8.0 and an earthquake with magnitude of 9.2 in the Pacific Ocean, which causes a huge tsunami . These types of boundaries dont create volcanoes or mountains, but it does create earthquakes and tsunamis that may cause lots of troubles to humans.
