TRANSITION SIGNALS -are words and phrases that connect ideas or sentences and paragraphs for coherence. They also indicate building up new idea or thought or compare ideas or draw conclusions.

Why do we need to use transitional signals?

I like chocolate. I enjoy vanilla ice cream. I like chocolate; additionally , I enjoy vanilla ice cream.  

Yesterday I went walking. I don’t want to walk in the mornings. The sun was shining and I felt like some exercise. I saw lots of animals like birds, butterflies and rabbits.
