2. Transpiration Transpiration is the process where by water that is absorbed by plants, usually through the roots, are evaporated.

3. Why Transpiration? Transpiration is a very important process as it allows plants to absorb more water from its roots receiving important nutrients and minerals. Evaporation of water takes place so as to make the flow of water constant. Thus, cooling the plant down.
