17. 42  And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.  43  And awe [ a ]  came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.  44  And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 

18. 45  And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.  46  And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,  47  praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

20. Acts 2:42-47 gives us a beautiful picture of a gospel-transformed community

21. This transformation was not based on human effort but on God’s sovereign work in regenerating sinners and forming them into a new people

22. It is God who calls, justifies, and sanctifies His people (Romans 8:29-30).

23. The church in Acts did not create revival through man-made methods but through faithful devotion to the ordinary means of grace

24. Does our church reflect this same devotion and transformation?

37. Conclusion A transformed community is one that is devoted to the Word, fellowship, worship, generosity, and mission.

38. If we desire to see our communities transformed, we must first be faithful in living as the church Christ has called us to be .

39. Are we committed to God’s Word, fellowship, prayer, and generosity?

40. Is our church a gospel-centered community that shines the light of Christ to the world?

41. May we, by God’s grace, be faithful in our calling and trust Him to bring transformation for His glory .
