•TyreTemperature monitoring system is an efficient
and reliable system that continuously monitors and
displays the temperature of vehicle tires in real-
time.
•
This system aims to enhance vehicle safety,
optimize tire performance, and extend tire life by
providing timely alerts to drivers regarding
abnormal temperature conditions, ultimately
reducing the risk of tire-related accidents and
improving overall driving efficiency.
INTRODUCTION
By analysingtemperature trends, 17MS can predict potential tire
folkures, allowing for proactive maintenance rather than reactive rерairs
Enhancing Vehicle Performance:
TTMS optimizes tire conditions, improving fuel efficiency, reducing wear and tear,
and enhancing the vehicle's overall performance
Real-time Data Collection:
It continuously collects and transmits real time data about tire temperatures,
allowing for immediate attention to potential issues before they become critical
Predictive Maintenance:
OBJECTIVES
"Tire bursts led to numerous accidents on highways, including the SamruddhiHighway."
This happens due to various reasons such as:
▪
Over-inflation
▪
Under-inflation
▪
Excessive wear
▪
Punctures or Cuts
▪
Improper Alignment
▪
Excess Temperature of Tyres

CONTACT TYPE TEMPRATURE MEASURING SYSTEM
⮚
In this type of systemwe can measure the
temperature with the help of NTC sensor.
⮚
Though , it is a contact type sensor the
sensor gets connected with the display with
the help of wire
⮚
We can’t get the real time Tyretemperature
in this system
⮚
It can’t be installed beside the Tyre, due to
the massive rotation of Tyrethe setup can
get damaged
⮚
It is a type of Tyretemperature measuring device in which
we can measure “Real-Time Temperature” of Tyre.
⮚
MLX90614 is a temperature measuring sensor which
provide real time temperature of the Tyre.
⮚
OLED is a display which will be used to show the real time
temperature of Tyre.
⮚
Arduino is anmicro-controller which controls the working
of sensor and OLED display
CONTACTLESS TYRE TEMPRATURE MEASURING SYSTEM
MLX90614 TEMPERATURE MEASURING SENSOR
⮚
The Integrated MLX90614 GY-906 is
a low noise amplifier, 17-bit ADC, and
powerful DSP unit.
⮚
MLX90614 sensorcan measure
temperature in the range of -40°C to
380°C. Sensor can measure the
temperature of antarget object which
is 2-5 cm far from the sensor.
⮚
The MLX90614 is built from 2 chips developed
and manufactured by Melexis:
•
The Infra Red thermopile detector MLX81101
•
The signal conditioning ASSP MLX90302,
ARDUINO UNO
⮚
Arduino is a Micro-controller used to control the
circuit by various operations.
⮚
It is a programmable device by which we can control the
devices like Sensors, OLEDs , Motor Drivers etc.
⮚
In our project we will be using this for the control of the
MLX90614 Sensor and OLED Display
