Udayan ~ The Condo Ville A Project by Mr. B.V. Doshi
Introduction of Mr. B.V. Doshi Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi , OAL, (born 26 August 1927) is an Indian architect . He is considered to be an important figure of Indian architecture and noted for his contributions to the evolution of architectural discourse in India . Having worked under Le Corbusier and Louis Kahn, he is a pioneer of modernist architecture in India . His more noteworthy designs include the IIM Bangalore, IIM Udaipur, NIFT Delhi, Amdavad ni Gufa , CEPT University, and the Aranya Low Cost Housing development in Indore which was awarded the Aga Khan Award for Architecture . In 2018, he became the first Indian architect to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize, which is considered one of the most prestigious prizes in architecture. He has also been awarded the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan . He has been awarded the Royal Institute of British Architects' Royal Gold Medal for 2022.

Overview Udayan – The Condoville is a JV (Joint Venture) with the Government of West Bengal, established new benchmarks in Public-Private Partnership to promote social housing and was declared a Model Housing Project by HUDCO. The project offers residential condominium – Utsarg (1 bedroom apartment for LIG) – 263 no., Utsav (2 bedroom apartment for MIG) – 625 no., Udita (2 & 3 bedroom apartment, duplex and triplex for HIG) – 706 no., Town Houses – 12 no.
Features This Project was launched in the June of 1995. This Project was completed in the June of 2002. The Architects involved in this Project are Shri B.V.
