NATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

Vision: Empowering people of their capabilities by providing an enriched environment towards a quality life.

 Umeed is a voluntary organization aimed at mobilizing community efforts for the welfare environment and society.

 Umeed is a registered non-government organization (Registered under the society Act XXI, 1860 as a national NGO with
Regn. No. 792) working on 180+ projects with the help of more than 45,000 volunteers in 8 states of India (Delhi,
Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand & Haryana).

 Umeed promotes sustainable and equitable slum & rural development. It has been actively engaged in creating awareness
about health, education and environment. The organization also deals with other social issues such as child labour, road
safety, drug de-addiction, etc.

 The organization is implementing various welfare programs throughout the country with help of dedicated social workers,
activists, volunteers and interns.

 Umeed was founded by Mr.Subhrajeet Gautam in 2011. Its Head Office is located in New Delhi

PAN India Internship

 Applying for Pan India internship means that there are 3 departments (Social work,
HR and Finance) you have to work in all these.
(All the tasks under different department mentioned above will be related to Social Work)

 Every week you have to complete the given task related to specific department .
 It is a 30 days unpaid internship.
 You will get the Certificate, LOR and trophy/medal to the top performer.
 Your certificate will mention all the departments which are as follows:
1. Social Work
2. HR
3. Finance

Terms & Condition

 The eligibility criteria for Internship Certificate, Letter of Recommendation(LoR)
& Gold medal: Perform all 4 tasks.

 Tasks will be allotted weekly only : After completion of previous task

 How Medal/Trophy will be delivered: Doorstep delivery by courier service

 Report submission: Compulsory weekly reporting on the 7
th
day of the task allotment.

 Reporting mode: Online (Email & Whatsapp) to HR/Coordinator
 Photo’s/Video’s (As an evidence) should be attached with weekly report.

TCR Rating

 Task Conduct Report(TCR) of each intern will be
prepared by Management Committee.

 TCR will be rated out of 5 and will be mentioned on
LOR (Letter of Recommendation)
Each task will have some points :
 Task 1:1 point

 Task 2:1 point
 Task 3:1 point
 Task 4:1 point
 Discipline and punctuality: 1 point


NOTE: 0.5 point will be deducted for late submission

Weekly Report



Heading of report and notes should include :
1) Your name
2) College
3) HR/Coordinator name
4) Date
5) Task number
Add these points in your reports:
1. Introduction
2. Strategy/Technique
3. Challenges
4. Observation


 Keep the report very clear and to the point

 Max. word limit is 300-400. Try to keep it below that.

 And remember your notes should be typed
