Not Complete: “The meeting is scheduled for Friday.” Complete: “The meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 13th, at 3:00 PM in Conference Room A. Please bring your project updates and be prepared to discuss the new marketing strategy.”

Not Concise: “I am writing to let you know that I have received your email, and I wanted to inform you that I am going to look into the issue you mentioned and will get back to you with more information as soon as possible.” Concise: “I received your email and will look into the issue.
