Some students might cheat because they have
poor study skills that prevent them from
keeping up with the material, while others
think that cheating is an easy alternative over
working hard in order to improve grades
People in sports cheat to win
For some people, cheating feels like the best
way to get ahead
People in relationship cheat due to anger,
selfishness, self-esteem and low commitment
Cheating is unethical
because it is wrong
in every way, shape,
and form. Whenever
a person cheats, he
or she lacks moral
principles. Cheating
undermines social
integrity, decreases
trust, and thus
damages society.
It robs everyone involved. The cheater,
their peers, and the teacher are all
deprived of the full benefits of education
It replaces learning
It deters progress as it locks the cheater
out of understanding the next level of
material in the subject
Cheating is unfair to your fellow students
Cheating can cause stress as the fear of being
caught or the pressure of guilt is more powerful
than the pressure of work
Cheating causes loss of sense of accomplishment
Cheating causes humiliation. Being caught red-
handed will give a tag of 'cheater' which remains
the entire time
Cheating destroys trust whether it be the trust
of your partner, parents, or teachers.
People can be made aware of the consequences of
cheating, for instance, in case of tax evasion strict
action is being taken against cheaters
Students must be taught moral lessons in school.
Teachers must talk about honesty and integrity in the
class
Anti-Cheating pledge can be created and all must try to
adhere to the rules as mentioned in the pledge
In case of relationships, one must try to be open to
build trust.
In conclusion, it can be said that cheating
is immoral whether in school, business,
sports, or relationships because it
involves breaking your word or lying.
Eventually, cheaters are never going to
benefit from cheating. It is always better
to give up cheating and be faithful.
