Unicondylar Knee replacement and it’s outcome

Knee replacement

1. Osteoarthritis Bilateral knee (Right > Left)

2. A 72 years female came with C/O B/L Knee pain (Right> Left) Difficulty in walking Low back ache

3. Duration of complaint 5 years But the pain has increased in severity from 6 months

4. Associated history of trauma No

5. History of comorbidity Hypertension Hypothyroidism

6. On examination MJLT +nt over B/L knee FFD 10 degree ROM 10 to 100 Varus laxity +nt KL grading 3

7. Xray finding Grade 4 Osteoarthritis B/L knee

9. Planned for Left knee UKR; as the patient had unicondylar involvement and there was no ligament injury
