What is IS/ISO 9001? IS/ISO 9001 is an international standard that sets out the criteria for a  quality management system (QMS).  It is part of the IS/ISO 9000 family of standards, which is maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is  applicable to any organization , regardless of its size or the industry it operates in. The primary objective of IS/ISO 9001 is to provide a framework for organizations to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a quality management system that ensures the consistent delivery of products or services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
