“Upper Ganges Canal” The Upper Ganges canal is the original Ganges Canal, which starts at the Bhimgoda Barrage near Har ki Pauri at Haridwar , traverses Meerut and Bulandshahr and continues to Nanau in Aligarh district , where it bifurcates into the Kanpur and Etawah branches.

The Bhimgoda Barrage, also referred to as the Bhimgoda Weir or Bhimgoda Head Works, is a barrage on the Ganges River at Har ki Pauri near Haridwar in Haridwar district, Uttarakhand. Bhimgoda Barrage

A queduct Roorkee India's first aqueduct- Solani Aqueduct was constructed by the Britishers in 1846 and epitomizes the perfect example of engineering marvel in Uttarakhand.  I t is a source of major attraction for people visiting Roorkee. 

The vintage Ganga canal "The Ganges Canal, Roorkee, Saharanpur District(U.P.)." The canal was the brainchild of Sir Proby cautley; construction began in 1840, and the canal was opened by Governor-General Lord Dalhousie in April 1854.

Ganges Barrage O fficially named as Lav Khush Barrage, this bridge across the Ganges lies at Azad Nagar- Nawabganj in Kanpur . Construction started in 1995 and inaugurated in May 2000. The total length is 621 m and will serve as a four lane Highway Bypass for NH 91 .
