1. UPS Education Assistance Program

Employees can receive financial assistance towards their college education. The UPS
Education Assistance Program (EAP) is offered to UPSers in an effort to recruit, retain, and
develop qualified individuals who will help meet the business objectives of our company.
Coverage levels within programs vary by geography, employment type, and business unit. Co-
op, intern, and full-time union employees are not eligible for tuition assistance.

Education assistance is available to U.S. based employees in the following job groups:
• Full-time non-union employees
• Part-time management employees (Supervisors)
• Part-time union and non-union employees (Loaders, Unloaders, Sorters, etc)

UPS has contracted with Edcor to administer the Education Assistance Program. Visit their
website, to learn about the program by viewing the Program Information section on the home
page. This website is also used to determine eligibility requirements, begin the tuition assistance
application process, or request reimbursement. To log into the
Edcor/Higher Education Resource Center (HERC) website (see related links) you will need
your employee identification number and birth date, entered in a six digit format,
mm/dd/yy. For example, if your date of birth is April 25, 1968, you need to enter your date
of birth as 042568.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A TUITION ASSISTANCE
APPLICATION AT THE START OF EACH SEMESTER.
