Course description: Utilizing experimental archaeology to further understand the archaeological record.
Responsibilities: Class lecturer and demonstration coordinator for the lithics portion of the course.
Flintknapping and the construction of an Atlatl were the course objective.
Student Assistant for Cultural Resource Management (Spring 2013). Course instructor: Marisol Cortez
Course Description: This class is designed to introduce students to CRM Archaeology. Students become
familiar with the main legislature used in CRM.
Responsibilities: Providing student of the course with a knowledgeable resource for which to ask questions
about class structure and class content, a liaison between students and instructor concerns, and other basic
tasks such as taking attendance and printing out packets to be used by the students prior to class.
