2. Uses of Light Artificial light sources help you see things inside a dark room. Lights can be a decoration to houses especially on special occasions Some toys produce lights which makes more exciting and fun to play with.

3. Colored lights served as warning signals to people. A red traffic light means STOP , green for GO , and yellow for WAIT . For pedestrians, you can cross the street when you see this green-colored sign.

4. Uses of Heat The sun keeps the Earth warm and gives energy to living things. Heat is needed to cook food, boil water for making hot beverages and warm up water for bathing when it is cold.

5. Uses of Sound People create sound to communicate Music is produced by sounds that are either sung by voices or played with musical instruments. Some sounds warn people of a particular danger.

6. Uses of Electricity Most of the things that people use are run by electricity. Electricity makes communication possible regardless of distance. Electricity provides power in our houses.
