INTRODUCTION Vastu it is ancient science where it is used in many types of constructions like residential houses, corporate buildings, temples etc., basically it is depends upon the sun light and air flow. It is interplay of various forces which are involved in solar system like land, wind, water, fire and sky.

4. Selection of land KIND-whether the land is fertile and solid or not. SHAPE-square,triangular,rectangular etc. DIRECTION-facing east,west,north or south.

8. SURROUNDINGS Southwest should be high and heavy North east should be light and empty No trees in front of gate No sandwitch between two big houses

9. SLOPE South west must be highest North east must be lowest

10. WATER – SOURCE AND STORAGE BEST – North east portion on northern or eastern portion AVOID – South west OVERHEAD TANK – Best in south or west but not in middle of the house .Avoid north east

11. COLOURING OUTSIDE – Light colours DRAWING ROOMS – Off white BEDROOM – Light pink , cream KITCHEN – Off white , cream STUDY EOOM – Grey or blue LIVING ROOM – Any light colour

12. DRAWING ROOM Hang some musical nodes at the entry Keep clock on north or east side walls Keep water bodies or lamp shades in the north east Drawing room should be in north west of the house

13. LIVING ROOM Keep TV in north or east Have sitting in south or west Room can be in north or east

14. BED ROOM Bed room should be in south west Head while sleeping should be in south or alternatively in east.

15. KITCHEN Kitchen should be in south east Cooking should be done facing east Sink should be in NE of the kitchen

16. BATHROOM Bathroom should be in south or west Bath and toilet should be seperate

17. MANDIR Mandir should be in east side In temples at home , idols should face west In main temples idols face east

18. STAIRS Should turn clockwise while going up Should be In southeast or northwest or southwest of the house Number of stairs should be odd
