Wish is used when the speaker wants reality to be different Wish is used when the speaker wants reality to be different, to be exactly the opposite Wish is followed by a noun clause There are 3 condition of wish : A wish about the future A wish about the present A wish about the past
1. A wish about the future Example : She will not tell me. She can’t come tomorrow. He isn’t going to be here. I wish (that) she would tell me. I wish she could come tomorrow.
