3. BENEFITS OF BEING THE PART OF THE EUROPEAN UNION Economic benefits: Slovakia has gained access to the EU's single market, which has helped to boost its economy. Political stability: Slovakia has become part of a larger political community that promotes democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. The EU membership has helped to promote political stability in the country and has provided a framework for addressing common challenges such as security, migration, and climate change. Improved standard of living: EU membership has helped to improve the standard of living in Slovakia. The country has received significant financial support from the EU, which has helped to improve healthcare, education, and social welfare.
