2. Vocal About Local... We have to implement the formula of Local Consumption by Local Production. The globalization circle is completing Globalization is first half & Vocal for local is second half the circle

3. ...Through Villages Developing The smallest unit of governance in India is “ VILLAGE ”. It is said that India lives in villages. Villages try to fulfil their demands by local production in village itself. A demand and supply listing of each village will help us in managing supply locally. Plan and make a Strategy treating village as country for planning purposes. Most of the things can be done locally to meet the demand of the village by producing locally. Leftover demand, we try to supply from within the district. Likewise next supply area would be commissionary area and then state.

4. ...Implementation With above approach and strategy, we can implement the idea of Vocal for Local. While implementing it, We have to take three elements into account in order to make it a success In my personal opinion, 75% demand be met by Local production within district and 25% Global(out of district) Participation of Stakeholders Convergence of Funds/ Inputs of All Types Formula of Low Cost or no Cost

5. Banda District ... In Banda district, we did some work on it. The aim of our initiative was to implement the scheme of doubling farmers income by 2020. It is also evident that the PM referred  doubling farmers '  income  by year  2022 , which is seven years away from the base year 2015-16. And, if anything is to be  doubled  by the year  2022 -23, it will require an annual growth rate of 10.4 per cent.

Banda District Our efforts were to convert agriculture mindset of Farmers and Producers into Agri - Bussiness We sent them on knowledge tour to visit of the places of the best practice to learn and apply in their won business. We sent them for skill enhancement training. Organised Visit to Excellence center of Kannauj . Organised visit to IIVR Varansi . Organised visit of a best practice in PUNE. 1- First of all we selected Agri Entrepreneurs -

7. ... Banda District In horticulture mission an excellence center is approved under National Horticulture Mission of Rs. 1.08 Crs with our initiation. It will be developed on the horticulture land in Banda City. Attra farm house of agriculture department is initiated to convert into excellence center under RKVY( Rashtriya Kirshi Vikas Yojna ) with two crores . 2- Creation of Growth Center - All three mandies are calling everyday 10 farmers from villages to visit mandi . First of all they are detailed about all schemes. After this they visit whole mandi to see and learn working of the mandi . They spread this knowledge in their villages and act Knowledge agent of Mandi in villages. 3A- Farmers Mandi Visit -

8. ... Banda District 3B- Farmers Vikas Bhawan Visit - Arhar Event on World pulses day ( Feb 10, 2020). Pulses of Bundelkhand are famous for its nutrient value, organic quality and being tasty. We organised it at foothill of Famous Kalinger Fort with added advantage of Agri tourism. After event, visitors visited Fort and the aim of agri -tourism is achieved. Agri Start up + Agri Innovator, Expert, Scientist+ 5 Padamshree . 4- Branding of Local Products - Each day 10 progressive farmers are invited to Vikas Bhawan visit. All are taken to 6 departments to detail them all schemes of the departments. They become knowledge extender in villages.

9. ... Banda District 5- Cluster Development - Lucknow is situated on Gomti River. Kanpur is on situated on Ganga River. Prayagra is on Ganga -Yamuna River. If these three cities are developed due to their situational advantages, Why we cannot develop 110 villages situated on Bage , Yamuna and Cane river in Banda.. 6- Village Development Program - We took data from all Mandi (3 APMC- Agricultural Produce Market Committee- Mandi we say in UP). We found the consumption of all produced. We analyzed how much we are producing Locally in district and how we are taking from out of district. Through Cluster approach we tried to increase production to reduce supply from outside district. Potato cluster, Tomato cluster, Chilli cluster etc.

10. ... Banda District We started finding answers to this question? We started with Alao Pey Charcha . Due to remote location, officials seldom visit such village. We organized meetings in all 110 villages to start with and to formulate Plan and strategy to develop these villages in a systematic way. Above acts brought outcomes 1. Farmers Started thinking to increase their income. 2. Farmers are Empowered by gaining knowledge- as knowledge is power. 3. Farmers Started tying to do same thing differently. 4. Mindset changed form Government’s dependence to Self reliant. 5. Agri mindset of farmers converted into agribusiness mode. 6. The gap between farmers and district administration is reduced which helps in improving governance.
