How does BCMA work?
•BCMA allows users to electronically
document medications at the bedside or
other points-of-care.
•The Nurse can use a medication cart
equipped with a laptop and a scanner.

(RF) communications
•The patient’s wristband is scanned to identify the
patient and each individual medication is scanned to
