2. W hat is Pollution? Pollution referred as any harmful change in the environment due to human activities.

3. Types of Pollution Air Pollution When chemicals and other substances are released into the atmosphere,the result is air pollution.

4. Water Pollution Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies (e.g. lakes,rivers,oceans,aquifier and groundwater) due to the waste( e.g solids,liquid ).

5. Soil Pollution Soil contamination is caused by the presence of human made chemicals .it is typically caused by industrial activity,agricultural chemicals or improper disposal of water.

6. Radioactive Pollution Radioactive pollution is define as the release of radioactive substance or high energy particals into the air.

12. 3-R’s Rule Three R stands for : Reduce,Reuse and Recycle. Thiis rule is part of the waste hierarchy which is a process used to protect the environment and conserve resources through a priority approch
