Wealth Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of wealth is a challenging endeavor that demands a nuanced
understanding of economic principles, societal dynamics, and personal perspectives. The
complexity lies not only in the vast array of factors contributing to wealth but also in the
subjective nature of the concept itself.
To begin with, one must navigate through the intricate web of economic theories, from classical
to Keynesian, and explore how each school of thought interprets the accumulation and
distribution of wealth. This requires a solid grasp of economic concepts such as supply and
demand, market forces, and government interventions. Furthermore, delving into statistical data
and case studies to support arguments adds an extra layer of difficulty, as the wealth landscape
is constantly evolving and influenced by multifaceted variables.
Beyond the economic realm, addressing the societal aspects of wealth introduces another layer
of complexity. Analyzing how wealth impacts social structures, class divisions, and individual
opportunities requires a deep dive into sociology and anthropology. Considering the ethical
implications of wealth accumulation and distribution also adds a moral dimension to the essay,
necessitating a thoughtful exploration of philosophical perspectives.
Moreover, writing on wealth entails acknowledging the subjective nature of the topic. Different
individuals and cultures perceive wealth differently, and personal experiences shape these
perspectives. Crafting an essay that captures these diverse viewpoints while maintaining
objectivity demands finesse and empathy.
In conclusion, composing an essay on wealth is a formidable task that necessitates a multifaceted
approach. Successfully navigating through economic theories, societal dynamics, and individual
perspectives requires extensive research, critical thinking, and eloquent expression. The difficulty
lies not only in understanding the intricacies of wealth but also in presenting a coherent narrative
that resonates with a diverse audience.

Who Is To Blame For Eva s Death Essay
An inspector calls was written by John Priestly in 1945, a play writer who was born
during the height of the industrial revolution. John was very passionate about the gap
between the rich and the poor but more importantly about the fact that the rich
refused to take responsibility form them.
J. B. Priestley was a socialist. He was a vehement political commentator and
playwright. He wrote plays for radio broadcasts so that he could reach a wider
audience. Priestley was a main contributor to the foundation of the welfare system:
NHS, free education and other help to the poor.
The play spotlights around the Birling family who are spending a happy evening
celebrating the engagement of Sheila Birling to Gerald Croft. This engagement is
seen as a business marriage by Arthur Birling, which will result in the merging of two

Sybil is an established rich who is cold, selfish, irresponsible and neglective. She
rejects Eva s cry for help without question and second thought the girl with her
granddaughter. This shows she is dismissive and she also dismisses the accusation
for Eva s death at the end. The reason Mrs. Birling is to blame is the fact that she
has the most diverse form of responsibility due to it being her job to help people
and to judge them fairly. Although, Eva used Mrs. Birling s name, she should have
listened to what Eva had to say thus if she hadn t turned her away, then Eva wouldn
t have been coerced to suicide. Mrs. Birling knew the girl was pregnant when she
turned her down. Mrs. Birling then points out that she was not the one who sacked
the girl from the factory and that the girl knew whom the father was but claimed she
did not know. She says, Unlike the other three, I did nothing I m ashamed of or that
won t tolerate investigation , this shows she s still quite certain she didn t do anything
wrong. в ЂЁMrs. Birling proclaims her prejudiced mind at the start by saying, Girls

`` The Knight s Tale `` For My Final Assignment
Author s Note The fact that nowadays Chaucer is studied, discussed, and read means
that his works are still interesting for modern readers. They are great pieces that
shaped literature as we know it today. However, apart from that, The Canterbury
Tales written in the 14th century catches readers attention now because it is a
collection of brilliant stories with plots so old that they seem very fresh and
extraordinary in a stream of modern literature. Still, as we perfectly understand, social
realities, beliefs, values, and tastes change and something in The Canterbury Tales
have probably got outdated since the 14th century. Due to this reason, I decided to
modernize The Knight s Tale for my final assignment. My main concern about this
text is that it does not adequately reflect social and gender roles. It is extremely one
sided and focused mostly on men. Women in it are represented, but they are
passive, voiceless, and objectified. In my story, I have tried to make both women
and men whole persons with their will, ambitions, and path. The Knight s Tale
There was a man who was called Theseus. In his late forties, he was a CEO in a
private security company known all over the globe, and his contribution to the field
was acknowledged and respected. Theseus liked traveling, and, starting from his
twenties, he visited 53 countries on different continents. Being in Greece last time, he
met Ypolita who worked in a domain of security consulting for a company competing

Benefits and Drivers Just as in nature, in business it is survival of the fittest. The key
to success and longevity for businesses in the modern world is to be innovative and
creative. To be innovative, it is imperative that a company develop a culture that
encourages new ideas, welcomes the latest technology, and implements pioneering
processes. For the United States Postal Service (USPS), an independent government

Unfortunate for the future of the agency; however, the United States Postal
Service s policies, procedures, and postal rates are governed by the Board of
Governors of the United States Postal Service. The board consists of nine
members who are appointed by the President. Despite that the United States Postal
Service is legally defined as an independent establishment of the executive branch
of the Government of the United States, it is still a business. As a business it is
difficult to make changes when its high executive leaders are government officials
that are content. Economic uncertainty, an external factor that influences innovation
is perhaps the most important and impactful. Money funds innovate ideas and at
moment, there seems so be very little left in the United States Postal Service s
budget to support new designs and processes. The United States Postal Service has
seen a decline in use since the introduction of e mails. According to statistics
presented by the Radicati Group, in 2010 an average of 294 billion e mails was
sent each day. The market is no longer what it used to be. However, the United States
Postal Service can use technology to its advantage. Technology is an external driver
of innovation. In its early history, the United States Postal Service has used
technology to its advantage. In recent years; however, it had fallen behind in

Adolf Hitler
The Life of Adolf Hitler Tomorrow s history about me will be incorrect, they will call
me a dictator, and responsible for the death of millions of jews. A day will come, the
world will realize what I did was correct. I destroyed 90% of the jews, and leaving
10% of the world to understand why I killed them (Adolf Hitler). Adolf Hitler was
born on April 20, 1889 in Austria, Hungary. If Hitler s father wouldn t have
changed his last name in 1877, Hitler s name would be Adolf Schicklgruber
(Reiner). Hitler grew up with six brothers, which three of them died at young ages.
Hitler wanted to be a priest as a child, most likely because when he was four he was
saved from drowning, by a priest. Hitler grew up wanting to be an artist with high
hopes and dreams however his tough life and struggle with addiction led him into
other things. When Hitler was in high school he decided he wanted to be an artist.
He felt to be an artist he wouldn t need to go to high school and that he could just
make money selling his paintings. Eventually, Hitler realized that being an artist
wouldn t work because he ended up living in homeless shelters. During Hitler s life
he lost both his parents, while he was in high school. First he had lost his father

Definitions Relating to Assessment
1. Assessment: In education, assessment is used to refer to both the underlying
philosophical framework and methods of measurement that are used to document or
inform student readiness, progress towards objectives, and learning generally by
stakeholders with potential implications for future actions.

How Much Power Should the American Government Yield
A dispute widespread amongst the citizens of the United States of America is on
government, and more specifically on how much power the government should
yield. The philosophical question I will be posing in this article is what should the
government have the power to do . All the way to the left, we have liberals who
believe in a big governmentand a government that is involved with supporting the
people and curbing social inequalities and social hierarchywhile supporting social
equality. On the other side of the spectrum we have right wing conservatives who
prefer a government that is small and call for reduced social spending, less
regulation. In addition, they accept social hierarchy and social inequalityciting that
social hierarchy and social inequality are inevitable. With this essay, I want to focus
on if the government has the power to invade your privacy. Currently reactions has
been wild ever since former NSA analyst Edward Snowden leaked the massive
PRISM internet surveillance program used by the NSA to collect data on citizens of
the U.S. The philosophical question what should the government have the power to
do correlates with the NSA because the NSA is an institution of the government, and
should the government have the power to spy on its citizens without their knowledge
and without a warrant for the sake of national security. Foucault goes through the way
governments have attempted to control populations throughout history, and how
power has exercised

Cons Of Rail Transport
II.Pros and cons of using Rail/risks and benefits of using Rail There are several
pros and cons to any mode of transportation. These pros and cons include cost,
efficiency, and responsiveness. The goal is to find the most appropriate mode of
transportation for the type, amount, and destination of cargo. There will be different
needs for every product, origin, destination, and organization. First on the list is cost.
Cost of transportation is one of the major considerations involved in a successful
supply chain. Fortunately, in this department rail is one of the best performers. Rail
is known for being a relatively inexpensive mode of transporting large amounts of
overland cargo. In fact, The price structure and heavy load capability... Show more

On the other hand, if the organization were able to ship their goods by truck, then
they would have the option of either operating an in house fleet or outsourcing
their transportation needs. When comparing rail to tucking it is important to keep
some things in mind. In the early days, the choice of rail vs truck was easy
because by the time that transportation by tuck came about rail transportation had
been around for a long time. In addition, the adoption of motor cars also proved to
be more gradual than that of passenger trains, the result of primitive technologies,
high costs, and poor roads (GRANT, 2012, p. 248). This further added to the
dominance of rail. In defense of trucking it can hall large amounts of cargo over
long distances. In addition, it can do so with a reasonably high degree of
responsiveness. However, the amount of cargo that rail can hall is considerably
larger than that of trucking. The responsiveness of trucking also comes at a higher
cost then rail. Trucking is more suited to haling more expensive goods that require
higher responsiveness. However, in other parts of the world where the rail
infrastructure is more developed or more suitable for transporting cargo this may not
be an option. Perhaps the best use of both rail and truck is in combination through
intermodal transportation. This method makes use of one or more transportation
methods in order to achieve to achieve the best mix of

Pros And Cons Of Conservatism
The ideologies, conservative and liberal are the ideals that form the basis for
politics in the United States. The conservative ideals form the platform for
republicans and the liberal ideals, the democrats. Although not every republican has
to be a conservative and so on, republicans generally speaking have a more
conservative outlook on beliefs, policy, ethics, etc. Liberalismviews the government
as being the necessary tool to have equality among everyone and also sees it as the
governments job to help anyone that may be in need. On the other hand
conservatives think government should have less influence in the lives of people,
and people should be self responsible for their needs, not the government. For me, I
would say I don t really belong on either side, because I share ideas with both and
think both have their flaws. To me... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I have experienced what it is like to have more than enough money, but also what
welfare can do for people. In my opinion, the welfare system is extremely flawed
and easily taken advantage of. It s flawed because it makes people dependent
rather than independent. Eventually, it just becomes a way of life instead of a
temporary solution. So, then what is it really helping? You could say not everyone
has the money to get a higher education or college degree that s needed to get a
well paying job. While I do agree that college degrees are more of a necessity in
today s workforce, I also think there is more than enough financial aid to help with
the costs. Without college I don t think it s feasible to make more than 60 or 70,000
a year but I do think you can make more than 20,000 easily. Welfare is also flawed in
the fact that once people start making more than minimum wage their checks get cut
to almost nothing. So the mindset becomes why work so hard to have my checks cut,
when I can get the full amount doing nothing and therein lies the dependence

Spring Driving Essay
The arrival of spring s warm weather makes it a great time to get out on the road

The sound of metal rubbing against metal is one of the signs that you need a brake
replacement. You can also visually inspect your brakes by looking through your wheel
spokes and checking the brake pads. If the pads are less than a quarter inch thick,
then you will need new brakes. Griff s Auto Towing Inc also suggests getting your
brake fluids flushed according to the recommendation of your owner s manual.
Oil And Filters: Oil keeps your engine lubricated and keeps it running smoothly. Don
t forget to change the oil filter as well as the filters for your air and engine. These
filters prevent dust and debris from entering your vehicle s system and avoiding
potential damage.
Wiper Blades: Having a clear view of the road is vital to your safety and for the safety
of the drivers around you. The professionals at Griff s Auto Towing Inc recommend
replacing your blades every six months to a year or as soon as you notice your wiper

Thesis For Lakota Drought
Lakota Drought: Are Dams Key to Resolving Soil Instability? For decades the
Lakota tribe on the South Dakota plains had been living comfortably off of the
lush land. They used the soil s nutrients and the fresh rain water to plant their crops
and help them grow. They practiced their customs and sang their songs on the
immense amount of land that they had. The land was as beautiful as ever and
mother earth was healthy. Over the years as times changed, the climate did as well.
Fifteen years of on and off again drought has plagued the Cheyenne River
Reservation of South Dakota and has left it almost impossible for the soil to absorb
water. In a response to climate change, one Lakota family has organized a grassroots
group to start a dam building... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to an online source The Lakota Indians are a tribal Native American group
that resides in the northern part of the United States. Native Americans are
considered the first nation of North America. Although a large number of Indians
have immersed themselves into American culture, several tribal groups carry out
their daily affairs on Indian reservations . Many members from the tribe have left
to other locations and have adapted to a new lifestyle, meanwhile, others have
decided to stay in its original spot. One Lakota family decided to stay even though
life on the Cheyenne River Reservation hasn t always been that great. The soil used
to be rich and healthy. The rain used to provide necessary resources for survival.
However, due to climate change this created a major complication for the tribe.
Lately the land is not a fertile as it once was due to an inconsistent drought within
the past fifteen years. Although the hills look lush and green, it is a facade
because they re not really what they appear to be. Within recent months it has
rained heavily, but the soil is all dried up and is incapable of absorbing the water.
[T]he dry ground was unable to absorb the large quantities of rain, which ran off
into flooded creeks down the Missouri River, without ever replenishing the aquifer.
As a result of this, the soil cannot retain rich nutrients from the rainwater and this
causes the soil to dry up. This is a worrisome issue for current Lakota people living
on the land because they are not able to grow crops or drink fresh water from the
aquifer. They must limit their water consumption and plant their crops elsewhere.
The current natives are unable to truly live off of the land like their people once
did. In response to this problem, a Lakota family has started a grassroots group
called, Mni, to start a water project. One of the grassroots groups

Examples Of Mercy And Compassion
There are so many ways on how to practice mercy and compassion. There are three
simple steps given to us by Pope Francis during his apostolic visit here in the
Philippines on how to become ministers of mercy and compassion. First is to rest
with God. Second is to renew one s self. Third is to love others. Pope Francis tells
us that To be an ambassador for Christ means to invite everyone to a renewed
personal encounter with Christ. (Evangelii Gaudium). A renewed personal encounter
with Christ is witnessed when we rest with God. Rest is very crucial to everyone s
life. But some people seldom have time to rest due to hectic schedules and for some
students are overflowing homeworks. Rest is very important that even God rested
during the 7th... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And also there are people that we love so much but doesn t return our love back.
Real love is about loving God, and letting Him love us back. Another way of
practicing mercy and compassion is to love others. Loving others unlike the renewal
of one s self focuses on giving love to other people. Loving others is bringing Jesus to
others. Loving others is not just about giving them what they need, it s about teaching
them how to provide for themselves. Let us practice mercy and compassion by resting
with God, renewing ourselves, and loving others. During the season of lent we reflect
on the passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Lent is a source of
mercy and compassion in a way that we practice fasting and abstinence and as
much as possible drink water. Water has a chemical formula of H2O which means,
H for Honesty, H for Humility, for being humble enough to admit your mistakes, and
O for Obedience, for obeying the people in authority like our parents. These 3 are
the sources of mercy and compassion. That s why we should be honest, humble and
obedient. Always drink H20 on the season of Lent. The author spent his holy week in
the Philippines.

one of Strickland s examples. The space race was a symbolic conflict between both
countries and put pressure on the scientists and engineers developing the systems and
vehicles necessary to put men and women into space. Some of this technology later
evolved into other forms, and was eventually adapted to serve civilian purposes states

Being Country just those two words together come with many discussions, but the

about this, if your surroundings have changed will you still be the same as you were

Coastal areas offer a wide range of activities: from recreation, tourism, harbor, fishing,
offshore energy infrastructures, power station, road links, conservation, navigation
infrastructures, and aggregate extraction. All of these activities are competing to gain
access and to use the coastal areas. These activities will interact each other in
problematic ways, which eventually can create tension between stakeholders and
damage the environment. Therefore a form of management is required to
accommodate, facilitate, and bridge all interested parties, their

Medical Science Academy Benefits
When it came time for me to choose which academy to attend to get the best
preparation for college, the decision was fairly simple for two reasons: one being
the medical science academy and two being the block schedule. Alternating classes
between two days and classes that are specific to my dream occupation would be
beneficial to experience to have an easy transition to the next level. Both of these
factors were very important in preparing me for how collegefunctions and adjusting
to the schedule. And for three years, this system allowed me to experience and adapt
to the concept of having to attend different classes on different days. During a dance
practice for an annual cultural show at school, the entire student body found out that
the system we were so used to was now being replaced by the inefficient method that
every other high schoolin Fort Bend practices. As expected, there was much outrage
from both parents and students alike. To protest the new policy, a meeting was...

Changing the schedule that I, along with the rest of my class, have grown
accustomed to was now being taken away. The primary deciding factor I used to
attend the medical science academy was gone. This meant that I would fall out of
the college schedule experience and have the stress of going through at least 7
lessons, each a different subject, a day. This is a difficult and unnecessary transition
to make going into my senior year of high school.
At the beginning of my final year, this was a rough change to go through. Juggling a
job, maintaining grades, participating in extracurriculars, and applying for colleges
placed a lot of stress on me. As the year went along, I started to realize this was a way
to experience and react to sudden change and step outside of my comfort zone.
Despite not being useful to my future directly, the transition period has taught me

Ruth Asawa s Influence On Art
Ruth Asawa s, Untitled (S.114, Hanging, Six Lobed Continuous Form within a
Form with One Suspended and Two Tied Spheres), ca. 1958, is displayed at The
Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco. Asawa s work follows the methodology
of structuralism, which implies that artists use elements of human culture in
relationships to a larger, overarching system or structure. Asawa is also influenced
by abstract expressionism by incorporating it into her art by allowing nature to
create her forms. Asawa s specific background, technique, and material allows her to
create beautiful sculptures that manipulate form and space, while also sharing
similar characteristics as artists we have studied in class. Ruth Asawa was born in
Norwalk, California in 1926. Her parents were immigrants from Japan. During
World War ll In 1942, when Asawa was only 16 years old, she was split from her
family and put into a Japanese American internment camp. After high school, Asawa

Outliers Mastery Quotes
After reading The Sports Gene and Outliers, it is determined that people become
talented with practice and there is no such thing as innate talent . In Outliers, by
Malcolm Gladwell, in chapter 2 it is said, ...10,000 hours of practice is required to
achieve the level of mastery associated with being a world class expert in anything.
This supports the idea that people become talented with practice. The quote supports
the claim because if it is being said that it takes 10,000 hours to master anything, it
can be assumed that people do not have innate talent , but rather have a level of
mastery over many hours of practice. It could be said on the opposite side of the
argument that if it takes 10,000 hours to master anything, Why is there

How to Make the Best Cookie
How Do You Make the Best Cookie? Who doesn t love a good cookie? The quest
for that melt in your mouth, gooey, and blissful tasting cookie is a never ending
battle. My science experiment will answer the age old question: Is it possible to
make the perfect cookie? My science experiment is identifying the best method for
making the most delicious cookie. If I vary the amount of time I refrigerate the
cookie dough, then the batch that was freshly baked will be moister and ultimately
taste better because the wet ingredients will not have been absorbed yet. To perform
this experiment I will need to use three medium sized mixing bowls, an electric
mixer, measuring spoons and measuring cups to correspond to the recipe,... Show

This delay is called the incubation period. Most organisms take up temporary
residencies in the intestines, while others produce toxins that can get into the
blood stream; these are the most severe cases of foodborne illness. This is why
food safety is imperative to this experiment. Everything must be at the proper
temperature to be consumed. If it is not, then the outcome will not be good. I will
take every measure possible to make sure that everything is correct. So why would
these foods spoil if they weren t refrigerated? Pathogenic bacteria grows rapidly in
temperatures above 4.4В°C (40В°F). This type of bacteria does not affect the
smell, taste, or appearance of the food, making it difficult to determine whether or
not the pathogens are present. By refrigerating foods at the correct temperature,
you are eliminating the chances of these harmful pathogens growing in your food
and contaminating them. For example, if you accidentally left a jug of milk on the
counter overnight it would become warm and develop a rancid odor. If you were
to drink it, the chances of you getting a foodborne illness would be high
considering that the harmful pathogens had time to grow. Spoilage bacteria can
also grow at low temperatures, however they cause foods to develop disgusting
odors and appearances. Most people would not choose to eat these foods, but if they
did they would most likely not become ill. If I were

Difference Between Civil Rights And Civil Rights

2017 Differences between Civil Liberties and Civil Rights Civil liberties are the
specific individual rights, which contain the right of freedom of speech and action or
the right to a fair trial. These individual rights are protected against infringement by
the government. In order word, each in the individuals in the United State has their
own certain rights that the government cannot be interfere with arbitrarily. Civil
rights on the other hand mean that every person here in the United State including
the minority groups such as women, African American or poor people are protected
equally by the government under the laws. Mainly, Civil Rights protect each
individual from discrimination either by races, genders, or disability.
These two terms are often used interchangeably as protecting either Civil liberties or
Civil rights is an essential part of the government in the United States. They both
refer to freedoms that each individual has to protect themselves. However, they do
have some differences. Civil liberties are difference from Civil rights in a way that
the government cannot violate your Civil liberty. For example, if you are practicing
Catholic Religion, no one in the government can stop you from practicing it. Civil
rights are the rights, which were or will be guaranteed by the government through the
three branches. Hence, the government has the right to interfere with it. Also, civil

Short Essay on Marriage and Divorce
One morning while doing my devotions, I received a phone call from my friend
Jane. She told me that Tom and herself had hit a rough spot in their marriage, and
were considering their options. Before making and rash life altering decisions she
wanted to know if I would meet with them to get my perspective, and to ask some
questions about what the bible says about marriage and divorce. I told her I am
certainly no marriage counselor, but I would love to help out in any way that I can.
Not really knowing where to start I prayed for them, and I prayed for guidance and
this is what the Lord brought to me.
The Bible actually has allot to say about marriage. Marriage ... Show more content on

If you are a believer divorced by an unbeliever it also would be ok for that person to
remarry; however, the second marriage should be entered into lightly and heavily
considered beforehand. The bottom line is divorce hurts, it hurts the people and
family involved. Going back to the duct tape illustration, people come out hurt and
damaged. I think; however, the church needs to come along side and support the
divorcee. We live in a fallen world where divorce is a very real thing and not
something to be taken lightly.

The Causes Of African American Slavery In The 17th
Century
In America, Slavery began when African Americans came to the American colony
of Jamestown to work on a tobacco farm in 1619. Slavery began to spread
throughout the 16th and 17th century and was the bases of the american economy.
Slavery was widely used in the south, where large plantations were possible, but
was virtually non existent in the north. In the south not many whites owned slaves.
In fact, about 20% of white people in the south owned slaves. Some freed African
Americans even owned owned slaves. African americans were considered
property according to the law in the 16th century. Slaves mostly worked on cotton
plantations but they also grew other crops such as tobacco, rice, and corn.
Throughout the century cotton began to be an important raw material. After the
invention of Eli Whitney s Cotton Gin in 1793, the production of cotton sped up.
This meant that more products were being made faster and slaves had to work
harder and faster to pick cotton. In some plantations, slaves had a quota to achieve
on the number of cotton they picked in a day. The quota was set by the size and
speed of the slave, therefore, every slave s quota was different. If a slave didn t
meet his or her quota, the overseer would punish the slave by whipping them. Slaves
were bought and sold so they could work domestic services, construction, mining, and
more. Slaves were worth a lot of money depending on their condition. If a slave was
young, strong, and didn t have many injuries, then that

Martin Luther King Jr Respond To The Letter From...
The Letter from the Birmingham jail was a great letter. Written by a very eloquent
man, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, the letter was very persuasive and I believe it
must be hard to disagree with him after he made so many valid points. That is
precisely what will be discussed. So in the letter, Martin Luther King, Jr. talks about
how the clergymen that wrote to him and criticized him for supposedly planning his
speech at an unwisely and untimely time. To which, Martin Luther King, Jr backed
his reasoning with one of the most inspirational quotes I have personally seen. He
makes the point that For years now I have heard the word Wait! It rings in the ear of

was responding to also made it a point that he couldn t support something that was
breaking laws. To which, he responded with about how it was morally wrong for the
people in his organization to just sit by and do nothing while their friends of color
could not participate in activities due to the race they were born with. A law that is
morally wrong to someone that would not impact someone s life (unless
positively) is a law that can be bypassed considering it is something as simple as
judging someone for something that they can t even control, such as skin tone.
Martin Luther King, Jr. wasn t even advocating that it was okay to break laws, he
simply stated that people have a moral and lawful duty to upkeep laws. Especially
for just and unjust laws to which you can differentiate if you read the letter
yourself. His whole letter was a response to someone that criticized him for what
he believed in and what he did to help his community. He was simply telling them
why he did what he did. With all valid arguments, I personally believe Martin
Luther King, Jr. achieved his purpose in explaining why he was an advocate against
slavery and why he did such things for the sake of freedom. Even though there were
so many more points he justified, for not only himself but his community, this essay
is getting quite long. So, I completely agree with Martin Luther King, Jr. s letter and
I am moved by what he had to

Why Is Beowulf Stronger Than Anyone Else In The Entire

The lead and most important character Beowulf was told to be the hero that has no
weakness or fear of anything, as told in the tale. In the poem, it states that, Beowulf
is greater and stronger than anyone else in the entire world. In the movie, it is a
very similar description too. He proves his strength after his defeat of the monster
Grendel. He showed that he has no fear when he undressed himself to fight the
beast, and he shows that he is so powerful when he tears off the beast s arm to end
the battle. Although there is a similar sense and feel for who Beowulfis in both the
movie, and the poem, there is a major detail in the movie that is not told in the
poem. In the movie, Beowulf has a very great lust for women. Not only is this

on the great powers to enforce its resolutions, keep to its economic sanctions, or
provide an army when needed. However, the Great Powers were often reluctant to do

The Causes And Impacts Of The Avignon Papacy
Even before the Middle Ages, there had always been tension between the
government in the Holy Roman Empire and the Catholic Church. This tension had
built over years and years of each trying to become top dog, and be the one true
power within the empire. However, during this time national monarchies began to
show up, such as England and France. These monarchies outside the empire, were out
of its control began to gain their own power. With their newfound power, came even
more conflict with the Church. One of the biggest conflicts was between the popein
the Empire and the King of France. These conflicts eventually led to the period of
time known as the Avignon Papacy, which lasted about seventy years. The Avignon
Papacy was the time during which the pope was moved from Rome to Avignon, just
across the river from France. This marked a huge change within the empire, and had
several important impacts. These impacts include a loss in Church prestige, the loss
of the Roman identity of the Church, as well as a loss of faith in the Church by the
people within the empire. The conflict between the Church and the French Monarchy
was centered around their desire for control. More specifically, it stemmed from Pope
Boniface VIII believing that secular governments should not be able to tax the clergy,
or Church revenues without consent from the pope. This matter was not taken lightly,
and the pope issued a Papal Bull, the Clericis Laicos making it clear to the
surrounding monarchies,

the 1023 ft. height monument which weighs 10,100 tons . The base pillars of the
tower are oriented with the four points of the compass. It was the tallest building in
the world for over 40 years, before the Chrysler Building in New York City was built
in 1930. The original design housed an apartment for Gustave Eiffel at the very top of

Wind Energy Solution
Wind energy:
Wind energy described as the process by which wind is used to generate electricity.
Wind is a part of renewable energy. Renewable energy is the one, which cannot be
depleted when used. Globally, the use of power plants has increased, due to the
overpopulation, urbanization since past years. Since then, renewable resources have
played a vital role in maintaining balance worldwide in various forms. For instance,
wind energy, geothermal energy, hydropower and other renewable energy resources
help in balancing the environment. Nowadays, the leading problems such as climate
change, melting of glaciers is leading to a change in the environment. Wind energy
is one of the sources, which can replace the use of the non renewable resources such
as fossil fuels; oil and natural gas, hence take billions of year to replenish again, once

such as natural gas, oil and other non renewable resources is increasing day by day,

The first transcontinental railroad began was building in 1863. Half of this railroad
was built by Chinese immigrants. The Chinese immigrants came to find jobs because
there was famine in China. Since the Chinese workers were hard workers and they

transcontinental finished building in 1869, but by that time, there were too many
Chinese workers in USA looking for jobs. After the railroad was built, the Chinese
started taking other jobs around the country. This made the nativists hate the Chinese.

An Examination Into The Respective Proofs Of St. Aquinas
An Examination into the Respective Proofs of St. Anselm and St. Aquinas During
the Medieval Period, philosophers shifted their focus primarily to proving the
existence of God, as well as other religious tenets. Two Saints of the Catholic Church,
St. Anselm and St. Thomas Aquinas, developed their own respective proofs for the
existenceof God. These proofs have gained fame over the subsequent centuries and
still face debate and comparison today. Although both St. Anselm and St. Thomas
Aquinasoffer proofs for the existence of God, the proofs differ drastically due to
the distinct argumentative methods utilized by each author, as well as the
differing overall strengths and weaknesses each proof yields. To begin comparing
the proofs, one must first state them. St. Anselm s proof is most clearly described
by defining God as that than which no greater can be conceived (Melchert, 260).
With this definition in mind, one can contemplate St. Augustine s Great Chain of
Being and realize that existence gives something more being, or more greatness,
than non existence (Melchert, 261). It follows, then, that we grasp an idea of God,
which would be greater if it actually existed, therefore it (our idea of God) exists.
Anselm s definition of God and Augustine s theory of the Great Chain of Being are
the only requirements for Anselm s proof of the existence of God to work. St.
Thomas Aquinas actually posits five separate proofs, but due to length constraints,
this paper will only

South Africa s New Secrecy Bill Putting Country s...
South Africa is recognised internationally as a country passionate about upholding
its democracy. Last year however, the National Assembly decided to pass a
condemned Secrecy Bill, two days prior to Freedom Day, despite citizen s
disapprovals. Was the event a mere coincidence or is our country s democracy at
stake?
The Secrecy Bill, formally known as the Protection of State Information Act, was
introduced to replace the apartheid era legislation. It is supposedly an improved
legislation which serves to protect sensitive or classified state information against
unnecessary disclosure and destruction. It has been noted by the media and even
President Jacob Zuma himself that the Bill has some grey areas where national
interest remains too vague a reason for keeping information classified.
Furthermore, the Secrecy Bill restricts the media s access to government information,
offering hefty jail sentences to those who leak the secrets withheld by government. Is
that a procedure to protect the state of corruption in our country, or is it to protect the
State itself?
As far as I am concerned, the Secrecy Bill acts against our constitutional rights. The
South African Constitution states that: Everyone has the right of access to any
information held by the state. Along with this, the Bill acts against the right to
freedom of speech, as the media can no longer publish articles freely. This means that
journalists will no longer be able to investigate issues of fraud, theft and

My First Day At The College
It was a warm autumn morning and the sun was just rising on the horizon. I was
already awake and ready for my first day at the college. Later I found myself
standing crusted like a statue behind the white door which reminded me an endless
emotional tension that I usually experience all the time while facing a simple for
some people but for me a very difficult situation to deal with. For a long period of
time a very deep anxietyand nervousness had been my only response to the
situations when I had to interact with new people. Communication has always
been an unsolvable issue in my life as long as I remember myself, which caused
me a lot of trouble during my daily life and, i always tried to avoid it and couldn t
find a will power or capabilities to overcome it meanwhile realizing that my life
would have been a lot easier than at that moment.
Finally, I could suppress my nervousness and after taking a deep breath I opened
the door and quietly entered the classroom. It was dark and unwelcoming like on
purpose adding more anxiety to my already bad situation. There were two students
sitting, one of them was in the very front seat right before the teacher s seat with a
notebook and a book on the desk ready for the class. For a moment he cast a quick
glance at me, l guess expecting to see the instructor instead of me, he just looked at
me very indifferently. The other student was in the very last seat plunged into his
phone like if there is no life existing beside his phone.

Evaluation Of Assessment And Evaluation
Assessment and Evaluation Introduction Assessment and Evaluation are two very
different aspects in the realm of education that appears to be fairly similar, both are
the different sides of the same coin which is testing. The marked differences in
both assessment and evaluation are especially important. Assessment refers to the
referral and collection of data to describe or better understand an issue, whereas
evaluation is done by referring to data by comparing data in order to judge and
decide if the program or syllabus is up to a certain standard or quality. Assessment
takes variables into account, as patterns that are consistent in data that are liable to
changes can be taken into account. Assessment is the measurement of data, and the
results the syllabus has produced, how students have processed the material and the
various approaches, both prior and after the whole process. Educators will then be
able to gauge student s progress and level in a subject. Both assessment and
evaluation will enable educators and the school administrators to tailor the syllabus
and program according to the type of students. Assessment is more of a progress
collecting data as students progress along. Evaluation is a review of the whole
journey, a summary of what students have achieved, and what can be improved and
altered to fit and cater to students. Assessments are goal oriented, objectives have to
be reached, and achieved. To effectively evaluate, educators have to have sufficient

Vertical Hour, Face
The Vertical Hour, Face, and What It Is are all very different novels with very
different genres. The Vertical Hour is a dramatic play written by David Hare. The
play features three people, and one of whom is a professor in a university who is
still trying to figure things out. Face is a compilation of poems written by Sherman
Alexie. The poems are based on some times in Alexie s life and his identity. What It
Is is a graphic novel written by Lynda Barry. The novel features stories and pictures
about growing up. The play, poems, and graphic novel are quite different in terms of
their genre, but what is on the inside of the books is what brings them together. The
Vertical Hour, Face, and What It Is provide the strengths and weaknesses within...

Focusing on their identity, culture, and lives growing up, they made stories and
poems out of it in a fun and creative way. Alexie and Barry s lives were very
different apart from each other, but the same effect can be made. They both went
through tough and difficult times no matter what it was, and ended up making the
most out of it. The Vertical Hour does not have this in common. Instead of
focusing on her life growing up, it is about her life now and how she is handling
it. This can really compare and contrast the way children handle their lives versus
adult s handling their lives. Of course adults make the tougher and harder decisions
in life, and everything they do can hugely impact them. But children start the base
of their own lives before they become adults, and this ultimately shapes them. No
one can be an adult without first being a child. This is very obvious, but not in a
certain way. Before growing up and being responsible, children have to make dumb
and stupid decisions. Alexie barely wrote about this and Barry definitely did not.
But this is a fact, in order to learn from mistakes, we have to make these mistakes.
Otherwise we would eventually just keep repeating the same mistake. Learning from
them is what moves us past them and truly grow up. Nadia, in The Vertical Hour,
learned from her mistake of quitting being a war reporter and went back
