2. ABSTART The insurance industry worldwide is facing the challenges of deregulation, consolidation and convergence of financial services. There is today a pressing demand for cutting edge services of insurance business management and enriched customer experiences at a significantly lower cost. This software provides different types of Insurance services, which as like Life Insurance, medical Insurance, Motor Insurance, home Insurance and Travel Insurance etc ., will create from admin backend. Presently this project follows Internet mode i.e. the details can be viewed and updated by the officials of the company. The application has a pleasant user interface and user-friendly features and functionalities this software is developed in PHP using HTML CSS as front end and MYSQL database as back-end on Windows platform

3. EXSITING SYSTEM MANUAL SYSTEM: This system involves manual labours, which may lead to problems. It is very tedious to handle large volume of data and requires more time to handle the information, which results in slow processing. Thus the computerization will make it very easy and accurate at all the processing stages. Report preparation requires more time so by computerizing, it will be very easy for the management. So the existing system is to be changed and put for computerization.

4. DRAWBACKS OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM Manpower and manual system so hard to handle large volume of data. Time consumption. Maintaining the manual registers is cumbersome. Decision making is very slow

The systems provide all possible options to new entry, editing, updating and searching the Policy and Client. The system have the search options in many ways, it is very user friendly. User Detail:  In this section, the admin can manage all user details. Policy Holders:  In this section, the admin can manage all insured policies. Admin can view the policy on the basis of status(pending policy, approved policy, and disapproved policy). Admin also can approve the pending policy. Tickets:  In this section, the admin can view details of issues raised by the user and can also update remarks on particular tickets or assign them to staff

11. MODULE DESCRIPTION Staff Module: Dashboard:  In this section, staff can see all the details based on him/her in brief. Policy Holders:  In this section, staff can view insurance policy status. Tickets:  In this section, staff can view details of tickets assigned to him/her.

12. MODULE DESCRIPTION User Module: Insurance:  In this section, the user can apply for a policy and check whether his policy is approved or rejected. Ticket:  In this section, the user can raise tickets against any to complain and see the status of his/her ticket User can also update his/ her profile, change the password, and recover the password.

13. CONCLUSION The “WEB BASED INSURANCE SERVICES” has been developed to fill all the requirements of the Insurance Agency. The system is tested with the sample data and found to be executing at its maximum performance. The system is fully user interactive with command buttons for selecting various options to navigate other table processing and manipulate the effective handling of Client Details and Payment Details. Report from the system provides complete details about the Policy to the Insurance Agency, hence the daily report taken so that any future change in the current system will improve the efficiency of the generating process.

14. FUTURE ENHANCEMENT By using this software, they can take quick decisions and preventive actions based on the details given by the system. Due to the software, I hope quality will be improved, problems will be solved. It is user friendly system provided with options, which can be utilized by the desired operations. The new system overcomes the problems encountered with the old system. This project – web based application for insurance services were successfully implemented using standard development software and international defined transmission protocol. The application is therefore capable of being implemented on a wide verity of hardware environments. The web application which provides the user online access to insurance services was implemented using basic web page design tool; HTML, CSS,PHP. This web based application for insurance services is targeted to give quality services to the users who may wish to insure anything. All terms and conditions are within the website
