PPT is a file extension for a presentation file format used by Microsoft PowerPoint, t he popular presentation software community used for office and educational slideshows. 6. Examples of web-based presentation Prezi  is a presentation tool that can be used as an alternative to traditional slide making programs such as PowerPoint. SlideShare is an American hosting service, now owned by Scribd, for professional content including presentations, infographics, documents, and videos SlideRocket was an online presentation platform that lets users create, manage, share and measure presentations.

8. why web based presentation is important ? Web-based presentations serve some important purposes. T hey can add a rich dynamic to your company's web site, new customers can access them anytime from anyplace. They are also a great way to showcase an idea or a service to distant customers anywhere on the globe.
