Instrumental Music 13 Indonesia- Gamelan orchestra 2 basic kinds of Indonesian Music Scale: Slendro - five (5) equidistant tones in octave. Heptatonic - seven (7) tone scales with semi-tone. Irama - is an Indonesian term for tempo. Pesindhen - a female soloist singer who sings with a gamelan . Gerong - refers to the unison male chorus that sings with the gamelan.

Activity 3: SING THE FOLKSONG 14 The class will perform the assigned folksongs per group. 5 minutes will be the allotted time. Criteria: Voice Quality- 40 Style/Performance- 50 Impact- 10 Overall = 100
