Skills Include: Technical (Hard) skills Python, AWS, SQL, Power BI, etc. Non-technical (Soft) skills Communication, Writing, Customer Service, etc. Example :
Work Experience List your work experience in reverse-chronological order Include: Name of company Title of the job Duration spent at the job 3-5 bullet points describing what you did at the job, including achievement. Notes: Start each bullet point with an action verb Include quantifiable metrics to showcase the impact you had on the company Example :
Relevant Projects Side projects you have completed that relate to the work you will be doing in the job you are applying to. Include: Projects title 1-2 bullet points describing your project (If possible) include a link to your code, or work Example:
Certificates and Awards List any certification you have. This could be Cloud certs, Udemy certs, etc. List any awards you received. This could be any school scholarships, competitions you won, etc. Example:
Hobbies/Extra Curricular Activities This is a chance to show who you are outside of work and school. List your hobbies but do not provide any description. Extra curricular activities show commitment and highlight your non-technical skills. This is an optional part of the resume, yet it can be beneficial.
