About Westley Engineering
Our sister company is Westley Richards – one of the
few surviving genuinely English gun-makers, whose
technical innovation, obsessive attention to detail,
meticulous quality control and commitment to
customer satisfaction have given them a worldwide
reputation for producing guns and rifles of truly
outstanding quality.
By using the most advanced technology, Westley
Engineering has combined traditional values of
craftsmanship and customer service with rigorous
quality control and meticulously applied monitoring

customers with press tooling, stamped components
and assemblies or precision machined components

3. Our new 20,000 sq.ft. factory has been laid out for maximum
efficiency in our specialities of contract pressings, precision
machining and tool-making.

4. As well as having BS EN ISO 9001:2008 approval, we are also certified to
ISO/TS16949 – second edition and recently the Aerospace AS9100
certification.

10. Grip Locks - designed for the air conditioning & refrigeration
industry. Designed and manufactured the tooling with in-line
tapping, produced the components and supplied them fully
assembled in set quantities in sealed plastic bags.

12. A very small, accurately-made stainless
steel bulb connector for Visteon.
Additional thickness is produced by
double-overlapping together with
displacement of material. The
component is produced complete as
shown, on a single impression multi-
stage progression tool.
Brass Liner used as part of the
solenoid assembly for HGV starter
motors. The pattern created on the
inside of the liner is used to retain the
lubricants whilst in service.

15. Single impression progression
tool, using an ‘In-line’ Pronic
tapping unit. Producing the body
section of a ‘Grip Lock’, which is
used to support electrical cables
and condensate tubes.
A large multi-stage progression
tool, to run in a 160 ton
progression press, producing
suspenders for supporting pipe
work in the air conditioning and
refrigeration industries.

in a high speed Bruderer press,
producing very small and extremely
accurate electrical connectors

17. An extremely accurate multi-stage progression tool, housing over
150 small round piercings, 250 profile punches and 30 swaging. All
mounted on an aluminium alloy master die set, producing frets and
busbars used in engine management and lighting systems.
