The WILP In-Person Convocation 2024 Ceremony will be
happening at the BITS Pilani - Hyderabad Campus as per
the given schedule. The invited students who attend the
WILP In-Person Convocation will receive their Degree in
person at the convocation ceremony.

4. Mandatory Registration & Requirements
Confirm your participation on or before 5:00
PM IST on 7th August 2024 (Wednesday) by
registering online for the In-Person
Convocation https://wilpdar.bits-pilani.ac.in/convocat
ion/stud_login.asp and paying the Registration Fee
of INR 2,000/- on the portal.
Please note that we will be accommodating students on
“First Come First Served” basis and hence, you
must complete convocation registration at the earliest
for blocking your seat for the WILP In-Person
Convocation 2024 Ceremony.
Please plan to reach BITS Hyderabad Campus one day
in advance of the In-Person Convocation ceremony i.e.
by 9:00 AM on 24th August 2024 (Saturday) for
the Convocation Registration and also to participate in
the full-dress rehearsal event scheduled at 2:00 PM.

5. Mandatory Registration & Requirements
You have to deposit a cash amount of INR 1,100/-
towards the Security Deposit of the Convocation Gown
which will be refunded upon the return of the
Convocation Gown after the completion of the
In-Person Convocation Ceremony.
In case you have accompanying persons then you need
to pay a cash amount of INR 700/- per accompanying
person for event pass registration and also get their
coupons for the special lunch which gets served after
the convocation ceremony.
You need to report for the In-Person Convocation
Ceremony at the Registration Desk on Convocation day
25th August 2024 (Sunday) for WILP In-Person
Convocation 2024 Ceremony at 8:00 AM.

Accompanying persons will not be permitted inside the
Convocation Hall for the Convocation Ceremony. We
have made arrangements for the accompanying
persons to view the Live Proceedings of the
Convocation in an adjacent Lecture Theatre Complex.

Accompanying persons can watch the In-Person Convocation proceedings live in the lecture theatre complex.
On Convocation day, take the seat assigned to you strictly by 8:00 AM IST.
No mobile phones and cameras are allowed in the convocation hall.
Contact authorized photographers to get your photograph.
Maintain sanctity of the occasion in the convocation hall.

9. Instructions for WILP In-Person Convocation Ceremony
• On entering of the procession into the Convocation Hall, all assembled will rise from their seats, and remain standing until the members of the
procession have taken their seats.
• The candidate will go to the dais when he/she is called by the WILP Dean, get the degree certificate and leave the dais to occupy his/her seat.
Follow the route as per the given instructions. Further directions will be given at the time of the Rehearsal.
• After the distribution of Degree certificates, an oath will be taken by the recipients of degrees. Recipients of Degrees will stand and repeat the
oath word by word.
• After the National Anthem, Academic procession will depart. Once the procession leaves the Convocation Hall, all assembled students will rise
from their seats, and remain standing until the members forming the Academic procession have left the hall.
• Join for lunch at the place assigned to you after the function.
• Go to the Registration Counter from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, return your gown and get back the security deposit of INR 1,100/-
• It is mandatory to participate in the Full Dress Rehearsal event scheduled one day in advance of the In-Person Convocation ceremony. Students
will not be allowed to attend the main Convocation ceremony to receive the Degree without attending the Full Dress Rehearsal event.

• In case you make the Registration Fee for the In-Person Convocation ceremony and do not attend the In-Person Convocation ceremony, the
Convocation Registration Fee shall not be refundable.

•Smoking on the campus is strictly prohibited.
