LEARN TO SWIM
LEARN TO SWIM SAFETY FIRST Become completely safe in the water Jump or fall in the Deep Pool Control the Balance ( Front and Back) Manage the breath (Inhale in / Exhale out) Can swim until the bottom . Streamline and Kicking (Front and back). No complete stroke in target (Back/Br/Free/Fly)
LEARN TO SWIM Each Session must contain 4 parts ( exercises ) : Balances : Starfish, Ball position, Back and Front, Rotation, Torpedo, Head movements,... Breathing : Exhale, Inhale, Hold your breath, Blow through your nose or mouth, Empty your lungs to descend (sink), Fill your lungs to Float,... Propulsion : Flutter kick on the belly or the back (Streamline or head leading). NO BREASTROKE KICK. Only Flutter Kick. Use equipment (Board, Noodle,...) Entries : Descent to the ladder, or from the edge of the swimming pool. Jump (sitting, standing, with and without help), Rolling backwards ,...
SWIM SCHOOL (SWIM STROKE) Learn the 4 strokes in the Good Order Backstroke : After the LTS Program, the kid can easily use his kicking and balance knowledge to swim Backstroke (No probleme with the breath ). Freestyle : From the Streamline and starFish position, the gap is not too big to swim freestyle. The Main problem will be to coordonate the breath without loosing the balance. Breastroke : Most difficult stroke to learn WELL (Coordination and Timing). Start with the Br. Kick. Fly : Not technicaly complicate , but need power. Start with the Fins, and priorize theTempo ( fast )
