INTRODUCTION:-
Withmobilephonesbecomingabasicpartof

WIRELESSCHARGING.
What is wireless charging..?
WhereTo Use Wireless Charging.?
For Which Devices Wireless Chargingis Used.?

COMPONENTS
There are certain components that are used in wireless
charging.
1)Transmitter
2)Receiver.
3)Rectenna.

TRANSMITTER
Inwirelesschargingwehavetotransferthe
electricitywithoutanyphysicalcontactso

Inwirelesschargingthetransmitteris

,microwaves.

RECEIVER
Inwirelesschargingthereisonesmalldeviceconnectedto
devicethatrequiresthechargingmeanstheeverybattery
devicethataresupportedtothewirelesscharging.
Inreceiverthereisonedevicethatconnectedtothe

RECTENNA:-

WORKING:-
Howdoeswirelesschargingwork?
Wirelesschargingisbasedontheprincipleofmagneticresonanceor
inductivepowertransfer(IPT)–theprocesswherebyelectricityis
transferredbetweentwoobjectsthroughcoils.
Inthischargingthereisnophysicalconnectionbetweenthe
transmittingandreceivingdevice.

CONTI..
The diagram below simplifies the process of wireless power
transfer into 5 key steps:-

TYPESOFWIRELESSCHARGING
There are basically 3 types of wireless charging these
are :-
1) Resonance Charging.
2) Radio Charging.
3) Inductive Charging.

RESONANCECHARGING.
Inresonancecharging,two
coppercoilsareused.One
coil,attachedtoapower
source,isthesendingunit.
Theothercoil,attachedtothe
devicetobecharged,isthe
receiver.Bothcoilsaretuned
tothesameelectromagnetic
frequency.

RADIOCHARGING.
InRadioChargingA
Radiowave once
transmitted,propagates
inalldirectionsuntilit
reachesanantenna
tuned to proper
frequencytoreceiveit.

INDUCTIVECHARGING.
Thismethodworksonthe
principle of
“ELECTROMAGNETIC
INDUCTION” wherethe
chargerdevicewillcreatean
E.Mfieldwithalternating
polarity.

ADVANTAGES:-
1. Charging of mobile phone is done wirelessly
2. We can saving time for charging mobiles
3. Wastage of power is less
4. Mobile get charged as we make call even during long journey

DISADVANTAGES:-
1.Cannot Useful For Long Distance.
2.Only one microwave transmitter can serve to all the
service providers in that area.
3.The cost of manufacturing wireless charger is
more.

APPLICATIONS:-
Electric Cars.
Laptops.
Mobiles.
Robots.
Home Appliances.
Watches.

CONCLUSION:-
Thusweunderstandtheconceptofwirelesscharging.
Howthisconceptisusefultous,andthetypesof
wirelesscharging,itscomponents.
