WORD PROCESSING
Word processing software is used for working with text.
Word processing is an application program that allows you to create letters,
reports, newsletters, tables, form letters, brochures, and Web pages. Using this
application program you can add pictures, tables, and charts to your
documents. You can also check spelling and grammar.
Word processing softwareis used to manipulate a text document, such as a
resume or a report. You typically enter text by typing, and the software
provides tools for copying, deleting and various types of formatting.

Copies can easily be made, which saves
on printing and it is much easier to do.
Requires a computer to edit or view documents
which may sometimes not be there, especially
when on the go
documents can easily be send
electronically.
Typing is impossible when there is a black out
or laptops run out of batteries.
Itis easy to correctthe mistakesby just
hitting the backspace or delete button
Some symbols aren’t easily accessible, which
makes typing in different languages that use a
different alphabet is difficult.

CREATING AND EDITING TABLE
A table is made up of rows and columns.
The intersection of a row and column is
called a cell. Tables are often used to
organize and present information, but they
have a variety of uses as well. You can use
tables to align numbers and create
interesting page layouts.
CHECK SPELLING AND GRAMMER
A useful feature when checking spelling and
grammar is Word's AutoCorrect feature. When Word
indicates a word in a document may be misspelled
or incorrect, with a squiggle under it, you can right-
click the word to see suggestions. If a suggestion is
correct, simply select it to replace the word.
