Panel Discussion

Key Strategies to Consider Recognize and Reframe Imposter Syndrome: Identify triggers and challenge self-doubt with evidence of your achievements. Celebrate wins—big or small—to build confidence and reinforce your value. Build a supportive community of peers, mentors, and sponsors to provide perspective and encouragement. Empower Yourself for Opportunities: Focus on being “ready enough”—don’t over-prepare to the point of inaction. Shift your mindset to view obstacles as opportunities for growth and learning. Practice self-compassion and affirm your capabilities daily. Leverage Mentorship and Sponsorship Effectively: Seek mentors for guidance and sponsors for advocacy in decision-making spaces. Be intentional about building relationships with individuals who can support your career trajectory. Regularly update mentors and sponsors on your goals and progress. Advocate for Your Needs and Goals: Clearly communicate your aspirations and areas for growth with your leaders and colleagues. Overcome fears by preparing key talking points and practicing advocacy conversations. Use self-advocacy as a tool to create alignment between your contributions and your professional goals .
