2. WAYS TO PROTECT WATER In order to celebrate World W ater Day we read some information about water and watched a story that inspired us to make some drawings for our PPT presentation

3. WATER IS PRECIOUS D id you know that 2.2 billion people still do not have access to safe drinking water (clean).

4. WATER IS LIFE Did you know that more than 99 percent of Earth's water is unusable by humans and many other living things - only about 0.3 percent of our fresh water is found in the surface water of lakes, rivers and swamps. Over 68 percent of the fresh water on Earth is found in icecaps and glaciers.

5. SAVE WATER *Take short showers instead of long baths. *Don’t forget to turn off the tap while you are brushing your teeth. *Use pasta water to water your plants. *Collect the water that is running while you’re waiting for it to get hot.

6. BE GREEN DON’T BE MEAN! REUSE, REDUCE, RECYCLE!
