We don’t use a, an or plural forms: juice, bread, pasta, water We have to use quantifiers that we can’t count. e.g.: two slices of bread, two glasses of water We use a or an and plural forms: an apple / apples, an egg / eggs a sweet / sweets a snack / snacks much + uncountable nouns many + countable nouns We often use any , much and many in questions and negative sentences. We use some in affirmative sentences. We use some , any and a lot of with countable and uncountable nouns.
