Conditionals or conditional sentences are statements discussing known factors or hypothetical situations and their consequences. Complete conditional sentences contain a conditional clause (often referred to as the if-clause) and the consequence.

The phrases placed in the box mean something and they are called as the “if- clause” which happens to be the one of the parts of the kind of sentence we called as CONDITIONAL SENTENCES. These sentences express a condition (if-clause) and its consequence
