OBJECTIVES 1. Identify and recall words that name a person, animal, place, or thing. 2. Classify and use naming words correctly by sorting pictures and expressing them orally in simple sentences. 3. Show cooperation and appreciation for learning naming words by actively participating in class activities and relating them to people, places, animals, and things in real life. Cognitive: Identify and classify words that name a person, animal, place, or thing through the story and game activities. Psychomotor: Demonstrate understanding of naming words by participating in interactive games (e.g., rolling dice, matching pictures, or pointing to correct categories). Affective: Show appreciation for the use of naming words in everyday communication by actively and joyfully participating in class discussions and activities.  

Naming words

Naming words are words that tell the names of people, animals, places, and things. “Everything around us has a name. The words we use to name people, animals, places, and things are called naming words .”

Activity: “Roll, Think, and Tell!”

Guided Question: What happened to Lara and her family?   What naming words did they forget?   How did they feel when they couldn’t name things?   Why do you think naming words are important?  

Activity: Picture Sorting Hunt!”

Activity: “Naming Words Around Me” Ask guiding questions: 1. Who are the people in your home?” 2. What animals do you see in your surroundings?” 3. What places do you go to?” 4. What things do you use every day?”

Ask: 1. Why do you think naming words are important in our daily life?”  

  Activity: “Naming Word Station Challenge”

 

 

 

 

  Assignment Directions : Look around your home and find pictures of people, animals, places, and things . You may draw them or cut out pictures from old magazines, newspapers, or packaging. Label each picture with its correct name. Paste or draw them neatly on the paper.
