10. Heart How big your heart is? Y our heart is a special muscle. Its function is to pump blood through your body. It is called circulation .

11. blood I s a red liquid that flows around the body. Function of the blood: C arries food particles and oxygen to all parts of the body. I t also picks up waste materials, such as carbon dioxide , from the body and carries them to organs which can get rid of.

12. H ow does the blood move? Through blood vessels. There are three kinds of blood vessels : A rteries V eins capillaries Each kind of blood vessel has a different structure and function in the body.

13. Types of blood vessels : Arteries – carries blood containing food and oxygen away from the heart to the body.​ Veins- carries blood containing wastes like ​ carbon dioxide from the body towards the heart.​​ Capillaries - join arteries and veins. ​
