PREGUNTAS CON WHOSE Cuando queremos preguntar de quién es algo, utilizamos la palabra “ whose ” . La wh-word “ whose ” usualmente va acompañada del objeto por el cual se pregunta. Ejemplo : Whose pen is this? Whose bag is this? Whose colors are these? Whose book is that?
Cuando repetimos la pregunta, podemos omitir el objeto porque ya los oyentes saben de qué se está hablando . Whose is it? Whose is this? Whose is that? Para responder preguntas con “ whose ”, es común emplear los pronombres posesivos. That pencil is mine. / It’s mine That pencil is yours. / It’s yours That pencil is hers. / It’s hers That pencil is his. / It’s his That pencil is ours. / It’s ours
Luego, aclare que todas las formas de los posesivos se pueden emplear para dar respuestas. Ejemplo: Whose is that blue bag? That blue bag is hers. That is her blue bag. That is Ana’s blue bag. Whose are those new books? Those new books are theirs. Those are their new books. Those are Diego and Paula’s books.
